Our normal travel distance is no further than a 1 hour radius from Hollis Center Maine.  Should we have to travel a distance longer than this there will be a fee of $100 per hour of excess travel time. If a location requires an overnight stay to complete the job, due to excess distance, the customer will be responsible for hotel fees.

For heavily blocked flues there will be a $100 per hour charge for every hour over the normal 1 hour chimney sweep time.  

If the chimney requires 2 or more ladders, the chimney Is more than 2 stories tall, and/or two people are needed to set up larger ladders there will be an additional charge of $100 for all jobs, chimney sweeps, and chimney inspections.

We charge a $175 fee to come out for the service call. This fee helps us to cover our travel costs and time spent at the job site and cannot be waived for island jobs.

Special Order Caps Are Priced Based On Lid Size And Screen Height.  This Can Very A Great Deal.  All Caps Are Made With High-Quality Stainless Steel in Williston VT by New England Chimney Supply.  All Caps Include Screens To Keep Out Critters.

Should we perform the work and a bad check is collected, the customer is expected to pay the invoice total plus $100 to cover bank and administrative fees. If the customer refuses to make good on the check then we are obligated to call the Maine State Police as this is considered theft of services. Any kind of theft especially where a small business is concerned, can cause a ripple effect of financial burden. This includes price increases to cover the losses. 

Bad debt accounts will be closed, marked as bad debt, & incur a $100  administrative fee. The customer is responsible for all legal fees. If no attempts are made to remedy the debt we will no longer service the customer.  This is theft of services & will be reported as such.
